We are pleased to introduce our latest innovation to help make Tax Free Shopping simpler – Mobile Customer Care.

Designed to provide a helping hand at key stages of your Tax Free Shopping journey, Mobile Customer Care seamlessly guides you through the refund process through your smartphone, helping you track all your Global Blue Tax Free refunds during your trip.

How does it work?

After making a Tax Free purchase, a notification is sent to your smartphone containing a link to our Mobile Customer Care website, where you can track the status of your refunds and check next required action. Each step is customised, based on the purchases you make, with all your transactions handily grouped together for your trip.

One day before your departure we will send you a reminder alert via your smartphone, along with a guide to help you find the refund point at your departure airport. Once your refund has been processed, you will receive a confirmation alert with a link, containing all the details of the transaction.

Mobile Customer Care is currently available in English, Chinese and Russian language and is now available at participating retailers in Italy and the United Kingdom. Over the next 12 months, we will be rolling this service out to new countries and retailers across the globe.
