Where do you live and what do you like best about it?
I live on Kinnerton Street in Belgravia and love the fact that it has the feel of a small 19th-century town, with beautiful houses and a very elegant atmosphere, but all the benefits of being in the very heart of London.
If money were no object, where would you live?
That would have to be La Jolla, just north of San Diego in California. A beautiful coastline, warm weather and great golf!
Which city is your favourite shopping destination?
As much as I love London I would have to pick Milan because it is still the fashion capital of the world.
Where do you like to shop in London?
I’m as passionate about good-quality food as I am about fashion, and in the same way that I travel to source great handmade clothes and shoes from small artisans across Italy, I try to source top quality food. Whole Foods in Kensington is where I know I can go for healthy organic food from the best suppliers.
Do you have a favourite local café or bar?
I like to relax and people-watch at the Pantechnicon on Motcomb Street. It has great food and an interesting crowd as well as a nice little seating area on the street.
Where do you head to celebrate?
The Arts Club on Dover Street is an amazing place with so many options. You can eat casually at the bar, have a dinner in the beautiful dining room or enjoy live jazz in the basement.
Are there any hidden spots you don’t want out-of-towners to know about?
Yes – I really don’t want them finding out about The Nags Head on Kinnerton Street as it is one of the smallest, oldest and most beautiful pubs in London and they don’t approve of people using mobiles!
Where do you most like to travel for inspiration?
My heart is in Italy and that is where all Otto products are sourced, so I travel regularly to all parts of that country to seek out new ideas and products and talent.
What product or place can’t you live without?
So long as I have my Otto jeans and sports coat I am happy anywhere.
