Watches of Switzerland launches in London with a VIP party

Inside the Watches of Switzerland London launch party

Gemma Latham and Ximena Daneri,

Watches of Switzerland threw a lavish party last week to celebrate the opening of its new flagship store in London. Celebrity attendees included Strictly Come Dancing star Abbey Clancy, model Daisy Lowe and actor James Norton.

The showroom offers a breathtaking range of timepieces from more than 20 of the world’s most renowned makers. Occupying a prominent location on Regent Street, the three-storey store covers 17,000 square feet, making it the largest dedicated timepiece showroom in Europe.

A grand staircase sculpted from metal, glass and marble is the centrepiece of the luxurious and contemporary space, while 12 interior boutiques dedicated to leading brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier and Jaeger-LeCoultre create intimate areas for browsing.

The showroom caters to both first-time buyers and fine-watch collectors; highly trained staff are on hand to offer expert guidance, and four brand-certified watchmakers occupy the in-house service lounge.

State-of-the-art technology is installed throughout, while a 12-foot interactive video screen in the Calibre Room takes customers on a visual journey through the history of Watches of Switzerland.
