Fani Mari,

Goga Ashkenazi, owner and creative director of Vionnet, has been inspired by Marc Quinn’s work to create a sustainable Eco Surf collection, with 50% of profits donated to Parley For The Oceans, an organisation dedicated to reducing plastic waste in the sea.

Parley for the Oceans aims to address serious issues that affect our oceans. This global initiative involves artists, musicians and actors, and creates ecologically-friendly products.

There is also a sunglasses line made from 100% recycled ocean plastic, the profits from which will support the Asociación Ambiente Europeo environmental group, promoting action and social awareness for waste-free seas in the Mediterranean region.

The collection is made from eco-leather, cotton and recycled plastic, while the shop-in-shop at Selfridges features materials such as bamboo, aluminium and recomposed wood. Marc Quinn’s Raft Paintings series will feature on 3D monitors, projecting works created with non-biodegradable plastic bags.

The Vionnet x Marc Quinn collection is available now so visit the shop-in-shop at Selfridges and support this wonderful initiative.
