Liberty art prints date back to 1875, when the department store first opened with a selection of hand-printed silks created from wooden block designs. Today the Liberty fabric archive stores over 43,000 different prints and is most famous for its floral and paisley designs. A variety of brands, including Nike, Manolo Blahnik, Barbour, Chinti and Parker, and Roberts Radio have already collaborated on products featuring the store’s heritage prints, and the latest to join this prestigious list is footwear company Ugg.
The new limited-edition collection, which landed in store last week, consists of classic mini Ugg boots, Reignfall full-length rain boots, shorter Sivada rain boots, Scuffette slippers and our favourite Dakota slippers – available in three Liberty print designs, Misti, Strawberry Thief and Marky.
This dream collection is sure to sell out, so be sure to stock up soon, whether you’re an Ugg boot fanatic or a Liberty print fan. New additions such as espadrilles and summer slippers will be launching in early spring.
