Steak fans may already be familiar with STK London, the glamorous eatery on the ground floor of the chic Me London hotel. For the uninitiated, however, there is no better time to discover this gem of a restaurant as guests can now experience the delights of its summer menu.
To complement the restaurant’s offering of sublime steaks, which includes everything from its signature custom 28-day aged USDA prime beef to wagyu, Kobe and British cuts, the restaurant has launched a selection of lighter dishes for summer. Enjoy chilled gazpacho soup with basil sorbet or roasted scallops with pea purée, vanilla and Parmesan crisps to start, followed by braised shoulder of new-season lamb with gnocchi and tomato petals or Dover sole with charred lemon, asparagus and beurre noisette. The raw bar offers a variety of light and flavoursome ceviche – marinated raw fish or seafood – as well as beef tartare, or instead opt for a salad. From Devon crab to burrata with heirloom tomatoes, there is a dish to suit every palate.
Round off your meal with one of the intriguing new desserts such as Lager and Lime, which combines lime parfait with beer jelly to delightful effect. If you’re in the mood to go all out, choose the restaurant’s signature Fairground selection of delicious fun-sized desserts.
Inspired by the celebrated steakhouses of New York, STK London gives its menu a brilliant British spin and is well worth a visit this summer.
