When it comes to tasty and authentic Latin American food, Las Iguanas is one of the top eateries to visit, offering a range of hearty, warming meals that are full of flavour and spice.

This winter, the hip restaurant, located in Old Spitalfields Market, introduces 20 new vibrant and flavourful dishes to its South American menu. Classics such as fajitas, enchiladas and burritos are joined by the colourful new Taco Plank – grilled soft corn and flour tortillas with a choice of toppings and a fresh fusion of spices and flavours to give a delicious start to your meal. Enjoy new main course additions such as sea bass with prawns and crab on a bed of aromatic spiced rice for a hint of Rio de Janeiro’s winter heat.

When it comes to desserts, the menu has tempting options ranging from the new Kahlua chocolate cortado – a layered pudding pot of milk chocolate and coffee liqueur topped with a salted dulce de leche served with a cinnamon sugar-dusted churro – to a classic creamy caramel cake.

The drinks menu offers a wide range of cocktails, including the new rum julep. Dubbed the mojito’s older brother, the drink is a fusion of 12-year-old Eldorado rum, coconut water, mint and sugar – the perfect accompaniment to an authentic South American meal.
