Show Report: Topshop Unique Spring/Summer 2012

Streetwear met ancient Egypt on the catwalk at Topshop Unique where the Cleopatra-themed collection took its inspiration from hieroglyphic prints and Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic interpretation of the role. Slouched oversized jumpers, hooded tops and panelled pencil skirts featured heavy graphic prints with gold embellishment while eveningwear had an old school Hollywood glamour feel with salmon pink lamé gowns and striking gold statement jewellery.
