Show Report: Matthew Williamson Spring/Summer 2012

A riot of print and colour took over the catwalk at Matthew Williamson with a daring palette of burnt orange, dark plum, mustard and bronze. The collection was slightly looser than in previous seasons with an excess of material, draped and lightly tied at the waist and covered with a range of colourful, mannish blazers. As ever, Williamson’s dresses were scene stealing, whether full length or mini, and featured paisley prints and playful fringe embellishment.
