Show Report: Marios Schwab Spring/Summer 2012

Marios Schwab’s ladylike collection had a 50s starlet sensibility with knee-length A-line skirts, nipped-in waists and sweetheart necklines dominating his form-flattering creations. There were hints of sportswear influences in the monochrome mesh panels and swimsuit-style halter necks; but the overriding trend was that of the classic hourglass silhouette in shades of black, lilac and olive green teamed with chic lace gloves and subtle sheer overlays.
