Show Report: Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2012

Christopher Kane presented a light, ethereal collection for spring/summer 2012. Free from the harsh shapes and heavy duty embellishment of previous seasons, his simple shifts and minis teamed with woollen cricket jumpers came in soft pastels, mint green, powder pink and ice blue. Kane’s trademark embellishment was still evident, given a new lightness and delicacy in fine gold and silver with jacquard prints and beaded breastplates adding a subtle shimmer to each piece.
