Ormonde Jayne creates Black Gold perfume for Harrods


The newest scent from London perfumery Ormonde Jayne has been created exclusively for luxury department store Harrods

London-based perfumery Ormonde Jayne has launched a new fragrance in collaboration with Harrods. The perfume, Black Gold, is available exclusively from the luxury Knightsbridge department store.

The fragrance took founder and creative director Linda Pilkington on a journey to find ‘the most absolute of absolute oils’ in order to craft a perfume appropriate for such a prestigious partnership.

The resulting eau de parfum is an intensely sensual, velvety scent built on a base of Oudh, musk and sandalwood.

A heart of florals, encompassing orchids, jasmine and carnation absolute, creates a feminine flourish; while citrus top notes, including bergamot and lemon, cut through to provide an element of confidence and elegance.
