Newly revamped for 2017, the London Fashion Week Festival takes place at the Store Studios, the official home of London Fashion Week, and is the ultimate fashion destination. The event runs from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 September and gives unparalleled access to some of the top names in the British fashion industry, with talks, catwalk shows and, of course, shopping.

Sitting front row at a catwalk show is something most fashion fans only dream of but with a Luxe ticket to the festival it can become a reality. Alongside editors and key industry figures, who view the collections and pick the top trends for the forthcoming season, London Fashion Week Festival offers everyone a slice of the action. The daily Trend Catwalk Shows feature the top themes for AW17 to shop straight into your wardrobe and the Designer Catwalk Shows let you experience full collections. Fyodor Golan is one of the four designers showcased at the festival and is a name to look out for. The brand’s catwalk show for the festival is on Saturday 23 September and the womenswear label will be fresh from its LFW appearance just one week earlier. The three other leading names are yet to be announced and are certainly not to be missed.

If you’re after an even greater insight into the fashion industry, the festival’s programme of talks should be at the top of your schedule. From advice on making a career in fashion to discussion panels with industry leaders, on topics including diversity in fashion and the global issues affecting the field today, to top designer such as Alice Temperley sharing their own inspirations, you’re certain to leave with a head full of ideas. For unprecedented access, the Luxe Premium ticket includes entry to an intimate question-and-answer session with a catwalk designer and a drinks reception with Caroline Rush, chief executive officer of the British Fashion Council.

Don’t spend too long chatting with the fashion elite or gazing at colourful catwalk shows, however, or you’ll miss the main event. London Fashion Week Festival is home to over 150 designer labels and is one of the biggest pop-up shops in the UK capital. Encompassing standout accessories, divine jewellery and ready-to-wear collections for men and women, the festival has something for everyone. Most importantly, it offers something to suit every budget and, whether you’re looking for couture clothing or cubic zirconia, the vast array of stalls and stands are sure to cater to your every need. If you’re lucky enough to have a Luxe ticket, you can skip the queues and pay for your purchases at the private Luxe till point, and you can also leave your bag with the Luxe concierge if you decide you want to go back and have another look.

After all that shopping, make sure you take advantage of a little time to pamper yourself. Book in for a session with the professionals from Maybelline New York and Toni & Guy, who are offering make-up tutorials, styling and blow-dries throughout the event. If you’re keen to try out an edgy new haircut or experiment with a bold lip, this is the place for you. Be sure to visit the VIP lounge afterwards to enjoy a complimentary drink and canapés, rounding off what’s sure to be a marvellous day out.

Before you head home, don’t forget to pick up your limited-edition London Fashion Week Festival tote bag, available for Silver, Gold and Luxe ticket holders. Luxury womenswear label Mother of Pearl, winner of the British Fashion Council/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund 2017, has created this season’s bag. The elegant black design is covered in statement colour-pop flowers and was inspired by the work of Dutch Masters. Its sporty striped handles are a nod to Mother of Pearl’s own pretty-meets-practical style and this is the perfect gift to take home from London’s most fashionable festival.
