Fusing lightweight espadrilles with the sporty edge of modern sneakers, Mulo seamlessly creates multi-purpose footwear for the future. The brand’s new collaboration for summer 2016 features three images from the Norman Parkinson Archive of works by the world-famous fashion photographer. The image used on the Dog Friday shoes was styled by Grace Coddington in the Seychelles in 1971. After Van Dongen was inspired by the 1919 painting The Corn Poppy, by Dutch artist Kees Van Dongen, and features model Adele Collins, photographed in 1959. The Looks Like Summer design heads back in time to Mexico in 1966, where Parkinson shot a fashion feature for Vogue.
