The Sunglass Hut ‘magic mirror’, which allows customers to try on frames through virtual technology, also makes its debut.

Crème de la Mer
Long-haul flights are renowned for dehydrating the skin so make sure you’re prepared with one of the pre-flight facials at Crème de la Mer. Expert technicians are on hand so you can rest easy knowing your skin is being taken care of.

The Gorgeous Kitchen
A unique collaboration between four female British TV chefs sees a new all-day dining experience exclusive to Terminal 2. Boasting wholesome and seasonal dishes such as monkfish and tiger prawn coconut curry, the new restaurant couples great food with spectacular speed of service. For travellers seeking a quintessentially British treat, the restaurant also serves a Gorgeous Afternoon Tea every day from noon.

Harrods Fine Watch Room
For the first time, customers can shop at Harrods Fine Watch Room outside the world-famous Knightsbridge store. Visitors can choose from a wide selection of exclusive timepieces, carefully curated by the Harrods team.

John Lewis
The much-loved British high-street store has opened its first airport shop at Heathrow Terminal 2. The airport edition of John Lewis sees a unique collection of home, fashion and gift ideas, perfect for those looking for last minute, quintessentially British gifts. Brands such as Barbour and Joules also have concessions in the store.

Iconic British heritage brand Burberry has become something of a staple with travelling celebrities due to its effortlessly chic and comfortable pieces. At the Heathrow Terminal 2 store, customers can stock up on key items such as the Burberry trench coat, leather bags, cashmere scarves and eyewear. Digital in-store technology also allows mirrors to turn instantly to screens, offering bespoke multimedia content alongside the products.

The Perfectionists’ Café
Terminal 2 welcomes The Perfectionists’ Café, three-Michelin-starred chef Heston Blumenthal’s newest restaurant. The menu celebrates Britain’s favourite dishes while embracing the eccentricity of British invention. The restaurant features the first wood-burning oven in a UK airport – perfect for those who don’t want to compromise on taste when they’re travelling. Those in a rush will appreciate the 15-minute menu and on-board picnic options.
