Anya Hindmarch’s cult Crisp Packet clutch

Anya Hindmarch launches a clutch inspired by a packet of Walkers crisps for spring/summer 2014 – a wearable piece of art

Kirsty Welsh,

British accessory designer Anya Hindmarch is renowned for her exquisite craftsmanship and covetable accessories, which include bespoke personalised pieces, leather totes, shoppers and travel ranges. This season, Hindmarch has added to her ever-growing brand with the arrival of the Crisp Packet clutch for spring/summer 2014 – the clutch was a sell-out when it launched last month and has now sparked a waiting-list frenzy.

This new clutch, inspired by a packet of Walkers salt and vinegar crisps, was handcrafted in Italy and is a wearable piece of art. Specialist jewellery artisans spent months perfecting this precise, high-shine, reflective metal design, available in four hues, gold, silver, burnt orange and blue, each with a silver chain and suede lining.

The Crisp Packet clutch has a growing celebrity fan base and was carried by Emma Watson at the Oscars, Caroline Issa and Russian street-style star Miroslava Duma during this year’s Paris Fashion Weeks and Kate Foley at the London Fashion Week Burberry Prorsum show. This cult bag is a sure investment, whether you wear it or display it in your home as a piece of art.
