A new fragrance from Fornasetti: Giardino Segreto

The latest fragrance from design house Fornasetti was inspired by secret Italian gardens, steeped in history and rich in foliage and herbs, making it the perfect scent for your home this spring

Gemma Latham,

Giardino Segreto, the fourth fragrance from Fornasetti Profumi, launches in stores this month. The fresh and herbaceous scent evokes memories of an old-world Italian garden, combining ivy, bergamot, pink peppercorn and thyme on a woody base of cedar.

The fragrance is available in room spray and a selection of scented candles, all of which are housed in beautifully decorated ceramic pots that make a delightful keepsake.

The handcrafted ceramics feature designs from original Piero Fornasetti illustrations and were created by the late artist’s son, Barnaba. Drawing from an archive containing more than 11,000 items, Barnaba Fornasetti reinterprets the motifs to present new visual stories while honouring the heritage of his father’s work.

An item from the collection will make a beautiful addition to any home and would be the perfect present from an appreciative house guest.

Fornasetti Profumi Giardino Segreto range, from £85 at Selfridges, 400 Oxford Street, London W1A 1AB, 0800 123 400 (UK), +44 (0)113 369 8040 (international)
