Top model Coco Rocha opened the Mango autumn/winter 2014/15 fashion show in Istanbul last week to an audience full of celebrity guests. In total, 32 looks were showcased, including those from the brand’s diffusion line Violeta by Mango which opened the show.

The 10 looks from the Violeta by Mango collection were inspired by the 1960s, with structured shapes in autumnal hues taking centre stage. Wrap coats and capes have been a major trend this season, having featured on the catwalks of designers such as Burberry and Erdem. Mango has followed suit and its collection includes these key pieces – perfect for capturing one of this season’s hottest trends.

Mango’s main line presented clean lines, androgynous, high-waisted trousers and military-style pieces, all of which have been major trends for autumn/winter 2014/15.

Other prominent trends to emerge included comfortable, oversized pieces in flattering neutral tones, and military-style items in traditional autumnal hues such as camel and khaki green. Mango’s pieces are perfect for emulating this season’s hottest trends in a wearable and fuss-free fashion, taking your wardrobe effortlessly from summer to autumn.
