Under the direction of chef Erdal Kılıç, Fark-et-mez offers gourmet food at its finest.  The venue is one of the few places in Turkey that cures and smokes its own Turkish, Spanish, Italian and French-style charcuterie meats and poultry. Fark-et-mez has one of the best selections of wine in Turkey and the extensive dessert menu is particularly original and enticing.

Antica Locanda
Chef Gian Carlo Talerico from Milan focuses on fresh and seasonal ingredients to create homemade dishes at Antica Locanda. The restaurant has become a favourite with local lovers of fine food. The mozzarella and delicate pastas are particularly good, as is the house balsamic vinegar, which is specially imported from Italy. The atmosphere is intimate and, as Antica Locanda is becoming a popular destination, a reservation is recommended.

Chilai, on the waterfront in Bebek, is simply dazzling. The lively bar and formal dining room each have stylish décor. A sushi bar displays creations from Chilai’s talented sushi chef, while well-executed French, Turkish and Italian dishes are also available. Patrons can retire to the beautiful floor-to-ceiling glass smoking lounge on the rooftop.

Located on a quiet, leafy street, Münferit offers fun and chic dining. It is a favourite destination for those who work in fashion and media, and with good reason. This newcomer adds a twist to traditional meat and seafood dishes, with delicious results. The bar and dining area have the feel of a gentleman’s club, while classic pop and rock songs play in the background.

Giuseppe Cipriani opened his first venture, Harry’s Bar, in Venice in 1931. A small number of off-shoots, called Cipriani, have been set up around the world attracting the jet-set, and the latest outpost in Istanbul doesn’t disappoint. The Art Deco-style dining room is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Classic northern Italian pasta and meat dishes keep the most discerning clientele coming back for more.
