Swissôtel The Bosphorus unveils its newly renovated rooms

Striking the perfect balance between Swiss sophistication and Turkish warmth, the new rooms at Swissôtel The Bosphorus offer style and comfort in spades

Verity Hogan,

The unveiling of 198 newly designed guestrooms marks the first stage in an extensive renovation plan taking place throughout Istanbul’s Swissôtel The Bosphorus hotel. The new rooms are the work of renowned interior designer Khuan Chew of KCA International, and combine Swiss sophistication, precision and simplicity with the warmth of Turkish culture. Floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of the panoramic views across the Bosphorus and flood the room with light from dawn to dusk.

The restoration of the west wing rooms is just the beginning of the hotel’s transformation. The renowned Gaja rooftop restaurant and Café Swiss will be updated and seven glamorous Loft Suites will also be introduced, featuring brick walls, duplex accommodation and statement steel staircases.

‘The opening of the beautiful new rooms in the hotel’s west wing marks the completion of an incredibly exciting first phase in our renovation project,’ says Gerhard Struger, the hotel’s general manager. The full renovation will be completed in spring 2016.
