Renowned for its stunning jewellery and watches fashioned from precious metals and stones, Cartier is nothing less than legendary. Its Istanbul boutique, reached through an elegant entrance that leads to a secluded garden patio, is appropriately seductive. On display are men’s and women’s watches and jewellery collections, including the famous Trinity line, which features interlocking bands of white, yellow and pink gold. The Panthère collection of diamond and jewel-encrusted pieces is inspired by the iconic Cartier panther motif. The brand’s sunglasses, scarves, pens and other luxury accessories are also sold here.

This is Turkey’s premier department store, offering the most extensive selection of international designer labels of any store in Istanbul, from Balmain and Balenciaga to Jil Sander and Stella McCartney, in addition to its own line of sophisticated men’s and women’s clothing. Beymen also sells a wide range of designer bags and accessories, beauty products and cosmetics. With a design and ambience that’s both elegant and contemporary, the six-floor store also houses a hair salon, a La Prairie beauty centre, and Beymen Brasserie, a stylish restaurant and bar.

Louis Vuitton
Istanbul’s flagship Louis Vuitton boutique radiates the cachet of this prestigious brand, right down to the impressive shop window displays which are worth stopping by just to look at. The three-floor store has the widest selection of all its stores in Istanbul and is the only one selling the label’s watches and the Marc Jacobs -designed women’s collection. These are displayed alongside the brand’s famous monogrammed suitcases and bags, men’s and women’s shoes, scarves, accessories and jewellery.

This is the flagship branch of Vakko, Turkey’s oldest and most distinguished department store. Vakko first built its reputation on scarves and hats, and has now become a classic Turkish brand synonymous with high quality and style. The elegant department store sells its own lines of men’s and women’s wear, including items created especially for Vakko through a partnership with designer Zac Posen. The couture department features international brands, including women’s wear by Zuhair Murad and bags and shoes by Emilio Pucci, Pauric Sweeney and Mulberry. The five-floor store also sells home decorations, Vakko’s famous silk scarves and Vakko chocolates.

Frey Wille
Vienna-based designer Frey Wille creates some of the most eye-catching jewellery around, distinctive for its characteristic bright colours and bold, geometric shapes. The rings, bracelets, necklaces and watches made from coloured enamel and set in gold often take inspiration from artworks by the likes of Klimt and Monet. The collection extends to include silk scarves, men’s ties, cufflinks and other accessories.

Aşşk Kahve
A favourite dining spot among both locals and visitors, thanks to its tempting yet health-conscious menu and stylish, cosy atmosphere. The menu features an impressive range of breakfast choices, while for lunch or dinner there are salads, burgers and sandwiches, pastas and grilled meat, along with California-style dishes such as tofu with vegetables. A large video screen showing footage from Giorgio Armani’s fashion shows is positioned to inspire and tempt shoppers arriving at this boutique.
