If you’re looking for a simple yet stylish souvenir from the Bosphorus, then Meral Saatçi’s silver and black onyx ring would be perfect

Dalia Mortada ,

Turkish jewellery designer Meral Saatçi’s elegant black onyx and silver ring is sure to remind the wearer of Istanbul. Simple and sleek, the piece features a small representation of a seagull, symbolising life along the Bosphorus.

Saatçi studied under master metal craftsmen and jewellery designers to perfect her own technique. In 2003, she worked with German glass artist Michaela Köppl at the Beykoz Glassworks Foundation to further develop her style, resulting in beautiful, contemporary and chic designs.
