Cassette expands to Nişantaşı

Julia Harte ,

Turkish boutique Cassette, best known for its distinctive handmade shoes inspired by contemporary Japanese and vintage fashions, has opened a second store in Istanbul’s upscale Nişantaşı district. Alongside the creatively cut sandals and eye-catching ankle boots, the store offers handbags, hats and a variety of accessories. Pick up some of Günseli Türkay’s eclectic tri-tone laced shoes, which look as though they’ve come straight from the Roaring 20s, or an anime-inspired handbag by Turkish design company Pioki. Finish off your new ensemble with an elegant pendant necklace from Güneş Kutlar’s Lucky Beads jewellery line.
