In Kreis 5, Zürich. It’s in the middle of the red light district.
What do you love about Zürich?
You have everything you need. In summer I can work until eight or nine o’clock at night and 10 minutes later I can swim in the lake. In winter, I can get in the car and in one hour I am in the mountains for skiing. There is a really high quality of life.
Which is your favourite city neighbourhood?
I love the areas in and around Kreis 4 and Kreis 5. You have all these little shops and cafés. From the bookshops and vintage stores to the designer shops, I find it very inspiring.
Which is your favourite store in Zürich?
Vibes is a vintage furniture and interiors shop behind Albisriederplatz. I always find something there, especially lamps, chairs, vases and books.
Where are the best bargains to be found?
Bürkli fleamarket, every Saturday.
Who’s your favourite designer?
It was Alexander McQueen.
Which Zürich restaurant do you prefer?
I love the Ah Hua Restaurant near Helvetiaplatz. It serves the best Thai and Vietnamese food in the whole of Switzerland.

Which is your favourite Zürich bar?
I love the Kronenhalle bar in Bellevue. It’s very small but you are surrounded by Chagall and Miro paintings, which makes it well worth a drink or two.
Which Zürich hotel is your favourite?
It has to be the Dolder Grand. It has amazing views over the lake.
Which do you think is the city’s best attraction?
How do you travel around Zürich?
There’s nothing better than getting around the city on a bicycle.
