Loewe AW15 womenswear by Jonathan Anderson

Loewe continues its fresh and uplifting direction for autumn/winter 15 with a contemporary and functional multi-dimensional capsule wardrobe collection of empowering womenswear

Marina Nelson,

Loewe’s autumn/winter 15 collection at Paris Fashion Week introduced its futuristic yet functional womenswear collection for the powerful modern woman. Building on last season’s keynotes with a look at the label’s heritage styles and colours, next season also pushes the boundaries of the futuristic silhouette with a structured and scientific approach. Signature luxury leather opened the show, seen in columnar styles teamed with wide-leg herringbone trousers and cut-out contrasting coloured belts for a graphic and vivid new look. Neutral gold, silver and grey hues were tempered with high notes of red, turquoise blue, green and yellow for a new-season statement. Evoking the modern and contemporary lifestyle of Barcelona, outerwear pieces dominated the key looks with diverse shading, longline shapes and vivid patterns, while a new shoulder bag has joined the geometric Puzzle bag. The new Loewe womenswear wardrobe is sure to prove a popular choice for the confident woman for many seasons to come.
