Located in the heart of the Spanish Pyrenees, this ski resort is like no other. It is set at the highest peak of the Aran valley and offers 144 kilometres of on-piste skiing. Winter-sports enthusiasts regard it as an activity hub that never sleeps, even when the snow is falling. It is split into three ski and snowboarding zones: Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua. In each, guests can enjoy a wide range of experiences and soak up the local atmosphere, enjoying competitions and events calendars. The resort offers something every member of the family. Across the resort there are three children’s centres which provide special kids’ classes and activities for those aged four and five. Non-skiing options include everything from ice skating and mountain climbing to helicopter tours and heated swimming pools.

La Molina
Visit the oldest ski resort in Spain, La Molina in the Cerdanya valley. One the country’s most famous winter sports centres, it hosted the Snowboard World Championships in 2011 among other international events. Its freestyle snow park is popular with sports professionals and is the ultimate space to practise and perfect your skills. Aside from skiing, snow sports include snowmobiling, Nordic walking, snow tubing, snowshoeing and sledging. The resort also offers a range of activities that extend beyond the slopes, including a beauty and wellness spa, a laser combat hub and a fitness centre. La Molina is conveniently situated within reach of public transport.

Masella ski resort is in the Cerdanya valley is just 90 minutes from Barcelona. It is one of the biggest resorts in the Catalan eastern Pyrenees and offers the big advantage of more sunlight hours than most other ski centres thanks to the fact that it has its own microclimate. The resort’s highest vertical drop is 935m, and it offers 65 ski runs, more than 70 skiing kilometres, a ski and snowboard school, a children’s area, restaurants and bars, and a wide range of accommodation in the valley. With all local amenities and services within walking distance, Masella is the perfect place for an enjoyable skiing holiday in the mountains.
