Santa Eulalia: a new look

Verity Hogan ,

Santa Eulalia’s Barcelona boutique has been given an extensive facelift behind its Art Deco façade. Reflecting the brand’s 168-year history, the interior renovations have remained in keeping with the unchanged exterior and now present a crisp, clean, modern space in which to showcase collections from the world’s most prestigious brands. Designed by New York architect William Sofield, the store now boasts a pop-up store housing temporary exhibitions and capsule collections, as well as a café with outdoor terrace that serves chocolates by Oriol Balaguer and Mariage Frères speciality teas beneath original advertising artwork from the 30s.
