The revamped Barcelona factory of the Catalan beer brand Moritz reopened recently as a unique three-storey space hosting activities related to gastronomy, fashion, architecture and design. Architect Jean Nouvel has created a multipurpose space that includes a microbrewery, beer and wine bars, two restaurants and a shop. The Moritz building also includes an exceptional museum and a culinary workshop housed in the old cellars originally used for fermentation in the 19th century. Unpasteurised beer is meticulously produced every day and enthusiasts can visit to fill up their own bottles. Delicacies prepared by chef Jordi Vilà also make this an experience to remember.
