Tsumori Chisato: New flagship store

Japanese designer Tsumori Chisato has opened her first flagship store in Singapore, at the Forum shopping mall. Chisato trained at the Bunka Fashion School in Tokyo and initially worked under Issey Miyake, where she headed the Issey Sports label, which was later named I.S. Chisato Tsumori Design. She launched her own label in 1990 and is known for her outstanding and quirky designs. Chisato’s playful silhouettes are well known in Asia and are also appreciated in Europe and the States. She added a menswear line in 2003 and has expanded her brand across the US, Europe, Scandinavia and Russia.
