Priscilla Tan, designer of Singapore label Chalk, has created a whimsical collection of highly wearable dresses in her latest spring/summer 2011 offering, Story of Brooch. Inspired by the illustrations in a Japanese book, Brooch, the work of Yoshie Watanabe and Yayako Uchida, Tan’s spring/summer collection captures a fairytale feel. Her imaginative style translates into charming yet practical pieces, well suited to Singaporean working women, who are always on the lookout for new designers. Story Of Brooch includes subtle trims, prints and patterns, all of which reflect the bloom of spring.
