Hannah Lewis,

Singapore has long been known as a paradise for food lovers, and now the brightest culinary talents have gained a new level of recognition through the Michelin Guide Singapore. The range of eateries in the city-state is fascinating and impressive: the first Michelin-starred Peranakan (with its origins in Chinese and Malay cultures) and Australian restaurants can be found here, as well as the first food trucks to gain a star.

When it comes to fine dining, Singapore’s offerings far exceed its size, and the selection we’ve highlighted – all holding either two or three Michelin stars – are just some of the country’s world-class restaurants. Fittingly, they are all inspired by the cuisine of France, the birthplace of the Michelin guide.
