Verity Hogan,

How did you first get into blogging?
I started blogging when I was 14. I got into it because I had an intense passion for writing and I feel that blogging is the only space that absolutely belongs to me and only me – it’s a space that allows me to write whatever I want.

Whose style do you admire most?
Lena Fujii, the Japanese ViVi model.

How would you describe your own style?
Unpredictable. I don’t have a specific style because I usually dress according to my mood. Sometimes I rock an all-black outfit, but sometimes I like to dress up all girly and dainty.

Which three items are currently at the top of your wish list?
A Chanel Boy bag, a Céline Nano and a Sony A7 camera.

What item do you think should be in every girl’s wardrobe?
The item that first comes to mind is a denim jacket – it’s a staple that never goes out of style.

What beauty products could you not live without?
Concealer and lipstick!

What is the best thing about living in Malaysia?
I think it would be the food. As Malaysia is a multi-ethnic country, there are lots of different cuisines that you can discover here.

Do you have a favourite café, restaurant or bar in Kuala Lumpur?
I’ve visited lots of cafés, but so far I haven’t found a favourite. My favourite brunch spot would definitely be Plan B though.

Where do you like to shop in Kuala Lumpur?
I like the Pavilion, Sunway Pyramid and Mid Valley Megamall shopping centres, and shops such as Topshop, Zara, H&M and Monki.

Tell us the three places in Malaysia that you think everyone should visit
For those who like to go to the beach, I’d suggest the Perhentian Islands, because it’s so clean there and the scenery is breathtaking. For people who enjoy shopping, Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur is a must-visit. There are also lots of bars and cafés around that area. You should also check out the Petronas Twin Towers; no trip to Malaysia is complete without a visit to the 88-storey towers.
