Katie Ramsingh,

Tokyo’s Ginza district is renowned for its incredible shopping, and its luxury fashion stores are also great places to go for something to eat. Many of the biggest brands offer their own cafés and restaurants, and our gallery charts four of the best fashion eateries in Japan. From tweed bento boxes at Chanel’s rooftop café to indulgent lobster dishes at the Bulgari dining room and British ales at Dunhill’s gentlemen’s club, discover this luxury combination of food and style in Japan.

Le Jardin de Tweed at Chanel
This rooftop terrace café by the Beige Alain Ducasse Tokyo restaurant is open from 1 April to 29 October. Customers can enjoy the Chanel bento box, decorated with gold tweed detailing and filled with macaroons, sandwiches and other miniature Parisian treats. Only 30 are available each day, however, so get there early to order one.

Bulgari Il Ristorante at Bulgari
Inspired by Italian living, Bulgari’s 11-floor Ginza store features a rooftop terrace lounge, bar and restaurant, alongside its classic jewellery pieces. Enjoy classic Tuscan wine and food, such as lobster risotto, as well as handmade Bulgari confectionery from Omotesando chocolatiers.

Armani Ristorante at Armani
Head to the 10th floor of the stunning Armani store in Ginza and you’ll find a unique restaurant serving authentic Italian flavours and a menu of classic Mediterranean food. We recommend sampling the limoncello liqueur-based granita and the handmade gelato.

Aquarium at Dunhill
British brand Dunhill offers stunning views of Ginza’s bustling streets and a gentleman’s club atmosphere at its in-store restaurant. Relax at the bar and enjoy cigars, cocktails and rare spirits or head to the lounge for a delicious menu curated by Japanese culinary genius Daisuke Miyashita, featuring British ales, stews and sandwiches.
