Aesop has employed the talents of its own creative manager, Hiroko Shiratori, to create a unique space for its Tokyo Midtown Galleria pop-up store, which is open now until late June.
Shiratori, who has already exhibited in Hong Kong, London and New York, turned her sculpting talents to creating a utilitarian space in which to display the Australian brand’s irresistible products.
Wooden chairs are cleverly stacked to create makeshift walls, counters and shelves, making this store a destination in itself as well as offering another opportunity to pick up such products as the mandarin, rosemary and cedarwood-scented Resurrection Duet hand cleanser and soothing balm, our personal favourite.
If you’re in Japan, the Tokyo Midtown Galleria pop-up is not Aesop’s only location; it also has stores in Aoyama, Ginza, Chiyoda and Shibuya in the capital, and in Yokohama.
