Katie Ramsingh,

The birth of a new It’ bag may be on the horizon as Salvatore Ferragamo launches the Fiamma handbag.

Named after Ferragamo’s late daughter Fiamma, who was the house’s leather accessories and shoe designer for almost 40 years, the new handbag has a semi-circular top handle and functional pocket, fastened with a lock featuring the brand’s iconic Gancio motif.

To mark the Fiamma’s launch, the brand is also premiering a special collection. Miniature-sized Fiamma bags in fringed leather, two-tone fox fur and aged snakeskin, in tweed with Swarovski crystals and lizard-skin handles, or in calfskin with opulent stingray details will all be available for a limited time only.
