Fratelli Rossetti’s summer loafers

Italian luxury footwear label Fratelli Rossetti draws inspiration from 1950s Italy for its summer 2014 collection

The Brera loafer, named after the neighbourhood favoured by Milan’s arts community during the 1960s, is one of Fratelli Rossetti’s signature styles and this tasselled moccasin loafer combines materials and colours in an appropriately artistic composition.

For summer the Rossetti family reminisces about the Italy of the 1950s. Capri and the dolce vita provided inspiration for a fun and colourful collection. The shoes’ uniquely hand-woven craftsmanship creates geometric shapes and shades that suggest traditional Mediterranean houses, while the colour palette evokes memories of sandy beaches and sunny days.

Founded in Milan in 1953, Fratelli Rossetti has been producing handcrafted, luxury Italian footwear for the past 60 years. A pair of Brera loafers represents an authentic piece of Italian heritage and manufacturing, making them the perfect souvenir for yourself – or a special gift for someone deserving.
