Statement shoes were everywhere in the autumn/winter 2018 collections with designers across all four cities presenting plenty of new shoe styles to covet. While the spring/summer 2018 collections were all about the ugly trainer, this season brands such as Emporio Armani, Isabel Marant and Fendi made a case for the cowboy boot. There were boots in all shapes and sizes, including Dior’s patchwork knee-high model, Saint Laurent’s platform version and Miu Miu’s white patent ankle boots, which are all sure to become cult footwear buys this AW18. The trainer trend is not over yet, however. JW Anderson, Gucci and Versace all offered their take on the sneaker trend with clunky, thick-soled versions reigning supreme. Take a look at the top shoe styles for AW18 here.
