Prada’s Via Montenapoleone stores get a 1920s makeover

In celebration of the Prada show at Milan Fashion Week, Edward Enninful makes over the brand’s Via Montenapoleone stores

Katie Ramsingh,

Prada will show its autumn/winter 2014 collection at Milan Fashion Week this evening and both the Prada stores on Via Montenapoleone have been revamped to celebrate the occasion. Transformed by Edward Enninful, director of W magazine, the stores have been made to look like 1920s nightclubs.

White and black mannequins dressed in Prada’s spring/summer 2014 collection and archive looks fill the Prada men’s and women’s stores. An art deco bar also features in the women’s store, while the men’s store offers games tables, 1920s food and cocktails as well as music from a jazz blues trio. The new interiors are on display until Milan Fashion Week ends on 24 February, so head to Via Montenapoleone now for a taste of 1920s style.
