Hannah Lewis,

Since her debut collection four years ago, Italian-Brazilian accessories designer Paula Cademartori has been turning heads with her bright, beautiful and luxurious handbags. Exclusively made in Italy from the finest materials, her designs are intricate and eye-catching. Cademartori takes art and femininity as her main references, infusing exoticism through colour, texture and graphic patterns.

This season, the designer has turned to her Brazilian heritage for inspiration and to artists such as Oscar Niemeyer and Kleber Matheus, focusing on the aesthetics of volume and geometry. Detailing is important to Cademartori, who has looked to the decorations and precious stones of an ancient table belonging to King Philip II of Spain. This Faye bag is finished with Cademartori’s signature buckle, an ornate metallic clasp which draws on her previous experience in jewellery design.
