New iPod Touch and Nano added to Apple’s roster

Sally Ashley-Cound,

It’s true that all the fuss in the build up to Apple’s conference in California yesterday was about the new iPhone 5, but one mustn’t overlook the improvements to the iPod Touch and Nano.

Available in seven colours, the Nano is now around the same size as a credit card with a 2.5in display and just 5.4mm thin. The display has been made wide-screen so videos and photos look even better.

The iPod Touch gets the biggest update with its elongated design the thinnest yet and a 4in display matching the iPhone 5’s. Previously only available in white and black, the iPod Touch now comes in five colours and is made of the same lightweight and durable aluminium used in Apple’s MacBook line.
