Hermès reinvents its Heure H watch

Sally Ashley-Cound,

Entering the Hermès collection in 1996, the Heure H watch is one of the newest additions to the Hermès watch family, which also includes the sportier Clipper and now classic Arceau designs. Since its launch, the signature H-shaped steel watch casing has come in many different colours and sizes, but the new incarnation with double-wraparound strap in smooth étoupe calfskin is one of the most appealing and versatile designs to date, as it functions as bracelet and watch at the same time. The white glazed dial of the watch face itself is smaller than on other Hermès models and complements the delicate and perfectly balanced Hermès H motif.
