Kölner Lichterfest

Every July, Cologne celebrates the musical firework festival known as Kölner Lichterfest, one of the largest in Germany. This year’s event takes place on 13 July, and will be centred on the Rhine as usual, with displays and other activities along Rheinpromenade, an illuminated flotilla of boats and the firework finale launched from a pontoon in the river. For the best views, book a trip on a comfortable cruiser and enjoy the magical display against the backdrop of the Old Town.
