The perfect day shopping in Munich

Munich is home to luxurious designer shops and department stores. We explored the city and found some of the best outlets for Tax Free Shopping

City Guide
Marina Nelson,

Start the day in Marienplatz, where you’ll find Ludwig Beck, one of Munich’s most famous department stores. Ludwig Beck stocks popular international labels from Hugo Boss to Van Cleef & Arpels.

If you’re on the lookout for chic menswear labels such as Boggi Milano, visit the Fünf Höfe shopping mall in the heart of Munich. For the best in fine tableware, homeware and glass, head to Rosenthal to discover a wide selection, including the exclusive Asian Dream homeware collection by Versace.

Residenzstrasse and Perusastrasse
For high-end contemporary fashion and jewellery, visit Chloé, Prada and Tiffany on Rezidenzstrasse; the entrance to the Tiffany store is on Perusastrasse, where you’ll also find British fashion label Burberry.

Visit one of the city’s most famous streets for a diverse range of famous jewellery labels and designer fashion brands. Shop for fine jewellery in Cartier, Chopard, Omega and Wempe, before heading to designer boutiques that range from Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana to Escada and Jil Sander.

Finish your shopping day in Munich with a stay at the luxurious Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s restaurant, full use of its spa and fitness centre, and limousine and butler services.

To help with your shopping trip the hotel offers guests a private shopping service in partnership with a number of Tax Free Shopping outlets.
