Jewellery company Niessing originated in the German town of Vreden in 1873. The company initially manufactured religious items and wedding rings but is now one of the the best-known contemporary jewellers in Germany.
When Ursula Exner, daughter of Bernhardine and Franz Niessing, took over the company, she developed a focus on design-driven pieces. By the late 1970s, the brand had presented its first line of kinetic jewellery and Niessing continued to pioneer methods of joining fine gold and platinum, while pushing the established boundaries of jewellery production.
Today, Niessing has boutiques all over the world and the company has published a book tracing its illustrious history. This Niessing Cirrus ring is a testament to the brand’s long-standing skill and bold design; each golden curve intertwines seamlessly with the next. Allow the ring to take centre stage by keeping other accessories to a minimum.
