Frankfurt has a new mall on the skyline

In addition to shopping, the Skyline Plaza offers a plethora of food, health & beauty and leisure options

Fiona Brutscher,

Frankfurt’s skyline is particularly striking, so it makes perfect sense for the latest and boldest retail development to rise up alongside the river Main to be named Skyline Plaza.

The newly opened shopping centre is home to 170 shops and covers 38,000 square metres, with a further 9,000 square metres dedicated to spa and fitness facilities and Frankfurt's largest food court, covering 4,500 square metres.

The exterior of the building is characterised by undulating, organic lines, while the interior is warm and bright, in a palette of neutral tones accented with greenery. However, the real attraction lies above, with a sprawling rooftop garden offering a restaurant, two playgrounds and distractions including table tennis, a putting green, a live stage and even an urban vineyard!

Head to this urban sanctuary to relax, unwind and enjoy the skyline views that earned the Plaza its name.
