Bogner does retro skiwear

To mark 80 years of providing stylish skiwear for on and off the piste, Bogner’s design teams have gone into the archives for some retro inspiration

Jennifer Barton ,

Bavarian sportswear label Bogner has drawn on its extensive archives to create a new collection that celebrates its 80th anniversary in retro style.

The Heritage Collection sees classic Bogner silhouettes from each decade from the 1930s onwards reinterpreted for the modern customer, merging vintage touches in printed ski jumpers, down jackets, parkas, stirrup pants and woollen ski caps. Each Heritage Collection piece includes a label featuring the photo that inspired it and the original design logo.

For those seeking a full Bogner kit, the brand is also re-releasing a limited-edition run of its signature bamboo skis, originally launched in 2004, created in collaboration with Bogner’s extensive fan club of sports and film personalities from Germany and around the world.

The sportswear label has offered stylish skiwear for on and off the piste since it was founded in 1932 in Munich.
