After every great holiday comes a flight home, but that doesn’t mean your shopping trip should be over when you reach the airport. At Berlin’s Tegel airport, you’ll find boutiques from the best names in German fashion and accessories to explore before boarding your plane. If you’re looking for last-minute gifts, souvenirs from your trip, or a new pair of sunglasses from a label that you won’t find back home, the airport’s boutiques are sure to fill the gaps in your suitcase. In addition, Tegel has a host of places to eat and drink – from cafés and diners to bistros and bakeries. Be sure to arrive in plenty of time to explore everything that Tegel has to offer

Pfendt Airport Optic
Pfendt Airport Optic has opened a new landside store at Tegel airport, just in time for the first rays of spring sunshine. Situated beside the Lufthansa first-class check-in area, the boutique offers the latest designs from many of the top design houses, including French jeweller Cartier.

Tegel Terrace
Stop for a light meal before you fly at the newly refurbished Tegel Terrace restaurant. Seating up to 200 people, Tegel Terrace offers an array of delectable freshly prepared dishes, coffee and other refreshments. Seek out the restaurant on the third floor of Terminal B.

Askania was founded in Berlin in 1871, so this recently opened store at Tegel airport is the perfect place for budding watch collectors to pick up a last-minute keepsake from their shopping trip. Initially specialising in the development of timepieces for aircraft, Askania now produces watches inspired by iconic locations in Berlin and the heroes of flight who called it home.
