14oz opens second store in Berlin

The success of the first 14oz store on Neue Schönhauser Strasse has allowed the boutique brand to open a second store on the other side of Berlin on Kurfürstendamm

Following the successful renovation of the original store on Neue Schönhauser Strasse in 2008, 14oz has opened a second Berlin store on Kurfüstendamm.

At both stores, architects have created luxurious, lively interiors in historical buildings without losing the grandeur of the original structures.

The marriage of traditional and modern is evident throughout the stores, as in the entrance hall in the Neue Schönhauser Strasse store complete with marble fountain or its Mediterranean-style garden, making both relaxing places to shop.

The overall concept of the stores centres on the convenience and comfort of the customer; private lockers allow for the storage of coats and bags while shopping, and the glamorous changing rooms are furnished with comfy armchairs.

Well known for its selection of classic denimwear brands, 14oz offers an impressive array of established and up-and-coming labels, from ballet shoemaker Bloch to edgy American brand Current Elliott. This season, look out for its collaboration with Italian shoemaker Buttero and Dutch jeans maker Denham. The trio has created a collection of reclaimed denim sneakers limited to only 300 pairs worldwide.
