The Van Cleef & Arpels guide to Paris

We spoke to one of Paris’s best-known jewellers for an insight into the famous fashion capital

City Guide
Marina Nelson,

Van Cleef & Arpels is one of Paris’s most celebrated jewellers and we caught up with its creative director for a quick insight into the city’s best hotspots.

On arrival in Paris, the best place to start is at one of the iconic landmarks, such as La Tour Eiffel (Eiffel tower). For a more in-depth look at Paris, wander along the river Seine before venturing off the beaten track to discover numerous coffee shops and one-of-a-kind fashion boutiques.

For more exploring, head to the 9th and 10th arrondissements (districts) for scenic canals and a number of new fashion outlets.

If you prefer to stick to the more famous areas, look no further than place Vendôme, home to the best in fine jewellery and traditional Parisian luxury.

One thing’s for sure, wherever you head you will enjoy the culture and food of Paris.
