Things to do in the 17th arrondissement

The 17th arrondissement, a quiet and tranquil district of Paris, is a lovely neighbourhood to explore. With plenty of open green spaces and top street markets, it is an appealing neighbourhood in the French capital

One of the quietest and least visited neighbourhoods of Paris, the 17th arrondissement is a great place to discover. It lies beyond the city’s major landmarks and visitors can explore the area at their own pace ‒ here you avoid  the hordes of people who head to major monuments such as the Eiffel Tower. This neighbourhood is often left out of guide books, yet it presents enticing glimpses of local Parisian life. With plenty of green parks and charming squares, it is the perfect place in which to relax and watch the world go by and it also offers lively markets where you can pick up an array of edible souvenirs.
